What did you do on December 23, 2018? You missed a great dance performance. The Dream dance performance is held by many college student street dancers every year in Hokkaido and last year was the 9th time. Other than Sapporo universities, some students are participating from Otaru, Muroran, Iwamizawa and other cities near Sapporo.
There were 290 participants this year covering nine genres including hip hop, house, break, pop, lock, waack, freestyle, jazz and krump. Even if you do not know much about street dance it is okay because each genre is performed separately, so you can understand clearly which genre is what kind of dance. It is very exciting.
This performance has been operated for nine years by Spark, a group organized by college students planning and managing dance events. Doors opened at 5:30 p.m. and performances started at 6:30 p.m.
The time the event finishes depends on the content each year, but it usually lasts about three hours. Both advance tickets and on-day tickets were ￥2,000. Usually, dance events tickets are ￥3,000 to ￥5,000, so you can watch a wonderful stage performance at a cheap price for your great Christmas memories. みなさんは 2018 年の１２月２３日はなにをしていましたか？あなたは素晴らしいダンスパフォーマンスを見逃しました。DREAMはたくさんの北海道の大学生ストリートダンサー達により毎年開かれ、去年は９回目でした。札幌の大学以外には、小樽、岩見沢など、札幌近郊の学生が参加しています。今年は総勢２９０名のダンサー達による、hip-hop, house, break, pop, lock, waack, freestyle, jaz そしてkrumpの９つのジャンルのパフォーマンスがありました。
ストリートダンスについて詳しく知らなくても大丈夫です。なぜなら、それぞれのジャンルに分かれてパフォーマンスするので、どのジャンルが、どのようなダンスなのか、はっきりと理解することができるからです。とてもわくわくしますよ。このダンスパフォーマンスは、スパークという学生によるダンスイベントの企画や運営を行っている団体により、９年開催されています。当日の開場は17時30分、開演は18時30分です。イベントの終わる時間はその年によりますが、毎年およそ３時間ほどです。前売り券と当日券はどちらも2000円です。
通常であれば、ダンスイベントのチケットは3000円から5000円ほどはかかります。なので、とてもお手ごろな料金でクリスマスの思い出にすばらしいパフォーマンスを観ることができます。来年、ご家族や友達と来てみてはいかがでしょうか？
