Sapporo University School Festival

Sapporo University School Festival, also known as Genten-sai, is held every year in June. This popular student-run festival attracts around 6,500 visitors annually with its vibrant stage performances and food stalls. The Nishioka District Festival is also held at the same time. At the 2026 festival, the Japanese comedy trio Yasuda Dai Circus came and performed. Kuro-chan, who is famous for TV shows such as "Wednesday's Downtown," was very popular. 

The main street on campus is lined with food stalls run by seminar groups and clubs that sell curry, kebabs, churros, and more. In addition, there are exhibits by cultural clubs such as the Photography Club, the Tea Club, and the Movie Club. 

The most anticipated event among the cultural clubs is the stage performance by the music clubs. Last year, one of the music clubs played Ellegarden’s songs, and everyone gathered in front of the stage really got into it. Every year, many students and residents dance in front of the stage. 

Besides musical clubs, the photography club is also very popular. The photography club’s exhibit attracts about 300 people every year. Many photos taken by students are on display, and the event provides opportunities for students to interact with local residents, making it very popular.

札幌大学祭

玄天祭としても知られている札幌大学祭は毎年６月に開催されています。この学生によって運営されて人気のある大学祭は活気あふれるステージパフォーマンスや屋台が魅力で、毎年約6,500人の来場者を集めています。同時に西岡地区祭りも開催されています。2026年の大学祭では、お笑い芸人の安田大サーカスが来て漫才をしました。テレビ番組「水曜日のダウンタウン」で有名なクロちゃんはとても人気でした。

大学のメインストリートにはゼミとサークルによる屋台が並んでいて、カレー、ケバブ、チュロスなどを売っています。さらに、茶道部、映画部などの文科系サークルによる展示もあります。

文科系サークルで最も期待されているイベントは音楽サークルのステージパフォーマンスです。去年はある音楽サークルがELLEGARDENの曲を演奏し、ステージ前に集まった人たちはみんな、大いに盛り上がりました。毎年、多くの学生や地域住民がステージの前で踊っています。

音楽系サークル以外に、写真部もとても人気があります。写真部は毎年展示を行い、約300人が訪れます。学生によって撮影された多くのの写真が並び、学生と地域住民との交流の機会にもあり、非常に人気があります。
