Hachiya Ramen

Hachiya Ramen was founded in 1947 in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. The founder, Enao Kato, opened an ice cream shop using honey in 1946 (Showa 21), and was the originator of the name Hachiya. Along with running an ice cream shop, Kato became interested in so-called Chinese soba, and in December of the following year he changed his shop to a ramen shop. Hachiya Ramen became a long-established local restaurant that mainly serves soy sauce ramen.

In 1964, Kato lost his memory in a traffic accident and forgot his ramen recipe, but thanks to the efforts of his son Naoto, who later succeeded his father, he was able to recreate the recipe. The recipe features a unique grilled lard and a double soup of animal and seafood, which is also said to be characteristic of Asahikawa ramen. The noodles are made at a factory behind the head office. It still boasts a high popularity among ramen restaurants in Asahikawa and has won first place overall in the magazine “Ramen Walker Hokkaido 2023.” There are two shops in Asahikawa, the Asahikawa Main Store and the 5-Jo Startup Store.

In the Netflix drama “First Love,” which was released in 2022, the head office appears in the eighth episode. Takeru Sato, who plays the role of Harumichi, and Kaho, who plays the role of Tsunemi, went to the store in June 2021 for a photo shoot and their autographs are displayed. Hachiya Ramen has a taste that people either like or dislike, but it is very delicious, so please give it a try.

蜂屋ラーメン

　蜂屋ラーメンは1947年に北海道旭川市で創業しました。創業者・加藤恵直が1946年（昭和21年）に蜂蜜を使ったアイスクリーム店を開店したのが蜂屋の名前の由来です。加藤さんはアイスクリーム店を経営する傍ら、いわゆる中華そばに興味を持ち、翌年12月にラーメン店の店主に転身しました。蜂屋ラーメンは醤油ラーメンをメインとする地元の老舗店になりました。 

 1964年、交通事故で記憶を失い、ラーメンのレシピも忘れてしまった加藤さんでしたが、後に父の跡を継いだ息子の直人さんの努力により、レシピを再現することができた。

   蜂屋のラーメンは 独特の焼きラードと動物系と魚介系のダブルスープが特徴で、これは旭川ラーメン全体の特徴とも言われています。麺は本社裏の工場で作られています。旭川のラーメン店の中でも今も高い人気を誇り、雑誌『ラーメンWalker北海道2023』では総合1位を獲得しています。旭川には旭川本店と5条スタートアップ店の2店舗があります。

  2022年に公開されたNetflixドラマ『ファーストラヴ』では、第8話に本社が登場します。春道役の佐藤健さんと常見役の夏帆さんは2021年6月に写真撮影のために来店しており、店舗には二人のサインが飾られています。
