What if there's a player who's outstanding in both batting and pitching like Babe Ruth from a century ago? Surprisingly, you may have already seen such a player. That person is Shohei Ohtani, currently the best player in the major leagues.

Since moving from Nippon Ham Fighters to Major League Baseball’s LA Angels in 2018, he has achieved something remarkable in just five years. First, he won the Rookie of the Year award in his first year, and in 2021, he won the MVP award unanimously by the judges and he won it again this year. Moreover, in 2022, he became the first player in major league history to achieve 15 wins as a pitcher and 30 home runs as a batter.

With his performance at its peak, he was named MVP of the World Baseball Classic tournament this year by leading Japan to victory, and he set a milestone in becoming the first Asian to become the home run king in the Major Leagues.
