(Japanese translation below)
By Rei Morita
SPADE Stage 4 is the big street dance event of SPADE, the dance circle of Sapporo University. However, SPADE is not only a circle activity for university students, but it also provides kids’ lessons with professional dancers every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening for local children.
SPADE is doing this kind of activity because there is full support by a group of professional dancers and video creators called KING.PRO who are working to boost the dance scene in Sapporo. This event is held every year, but last year it was held on a slightly smaller scale than usual and was called S.S.P. (SPADE Special Party).
This year the event returned as S.S.4. (SPADE Stage 4). S.S.4 will be held at Prea Hall on the third floor of Building 2 at Sapporo University on March 1, 2020. SPADE Stage 4 will start at 2:30 p.m. and will close at 4:30 p.m. Advance tickets are ¥1,500, and day tickets are ¥1,000.
There are several kids’ and university student performances for 2 hours from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are many shows where each individual and class colors come alive. It’s not just a dance show, but an all-around fun entertainment show. You will enjoy the music the people and the many performances. If you like entertainment, you shouldn’t miss it!
